Great experience, great material. Beautiful audio guide.
A. MUST. SEE for anyone who has an hour to spare at the most interesting, clean, air-conditioned, and faithful museum of modern art juxtaposed with religious relics and expressions (some of which are from the year 400)! What a beautiful treat. Get the audio guide for a beautiful enhanced visit.
Loved it! Take a bit of time to really get the history, it’s really worth it! Very helpful and friendly staff.
4 stars for the museum. It's interesting but small. The art exhibition comparing modern day social justice images with medieval images really made me think - and I'm not one normally for art. Why 5 stars? The lady at the ticket office was so friendly and delighted I used my rather basic German. Also, the availability of English translations available.
Very minimalist. I like how there was no arton the walls. It really makes you think.
Nicely and thoughtfully curated. The guide was wonderful. Contemporary exhibits explores universal themes that thread through both religious and secular society alike. A very good mix of pieces as well ranging in emotional tone. Brings life to the universality of religious artifacts and reveals a relatable, universal human experience.
A great mix of medieval and contemporary art. They have a wonderful audioguide available in multiple languages if you download their ap on your phone. You can connect to the museum's wifi to do so. Took 2 hours to do the entire audio guide.
Do you know, why there is a sea in Jerusalem?
